JACKSON, Mich. (WOOD) — An officer was injured and a suspect killed during an exchange of gunfire in Jackson Sunday.
Authorities say Jackson Police Department officers were responding to a report of a domestic incident around 1:30 p.m. when a suspect leaving a home pulled a gun and opened fire, WLNS, WOOD TV8's sister station in Lansing, reports.
The three officers returned fire. The suspect was killed.
