Semi-truck rolls in Coopersville spilling gallons of milk

POLKTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) -- Thousands of gallons of milk spilled into the roadway after a semi rolled over Friday. 

Ottawa County investigators responded to the intersection around 6:25 p.m. at 68th Avenue and Randall Street in Coopersville. 

The Binkerd Trucking semi was heading southbound on 68th Avenue and trying to turn east on Randall Street when investigators said the driver lost control and overturned in the intersection.

It was transporting 61,000 gallons of milk, much of which ended up spilling into the road.
