Suspects sought in Branch County break-ins

UNION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan State Police are searching for suspects in connection to a string of break-ins in Branch County.

The most recent crime happened between 12 a.m.  Wednesday and 4:30 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 900 block of Adolph Road in Union Township, just south of Union City.

MSP say the thief or thieves kicked in two doors to the home and a garage door and stole jewelry. Investigators believe the suspect or suspects were looking for weapons.

State police believe the same person or people may be behind similar break-ins in the immediate area within the last two days. They’re asking residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious people or vehicles to MSP.
