WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal officer-involved shooting in Wyoming Friday.
It happened at Resurrection Cemetery at 44th Street and Clyde Park Avenue. Police responded to a report of a suicidal individual in the cemetery. Upon arrival, officers discovered the individual had a gun, which led to shots being exchanged between them and the officers.
It is unknown if the individual took his own life or was killed by the officer's gunfire.
