Man shot by deputy pleads to weapons charge

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who was shot in the arm by a Kent County deputy last year has pleaded guilty to a federal weapons charge.

Cordero Barnes pleaded guilty March 19 to a count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The plea was made without a plea agreement.
