GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who went missing early Sunday morning.
The Kent County Sheriff's Department is trying to locate 79-year-old Sarah Juanita Lockley, who walked away from a residence near the East Beltline and Fulton Street around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities say Lockley has dementia and just relocated from Florida to the Grand Rapids area this weekend. Her family says she likely doesn't know the area well, and they're concerned because she is very active and able to walk a long distance on foot.
