GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) -- Emergency crews worked for several hours to contain a house fire overnight in Grand Haven.
Ottawa County dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 crews were called shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday to 12825 Wilderness Trail.
The property is situated right on Lake Michigan, roughly a mile west of the Grand Haven Golf Club.
The house was vacant at the time of the fire, but a 24 Hour News 8 photographer on scene was able to see firefighters still working on hot spots at 3 a.m.
