KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — The man accused of causing a deadly crash in Kalamazoo as he fled police has been charged with five criminal counts.
Thomas William Vyverman, 56, of Kalamazoo was arraigned Thursday on two counts of operating under the influence of liquor causing death; two counts of first-degree fleeing a police officer; and a count of assault, resisting or obstructing a police officer.
