HASTINGS, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — Hastings Area Schools is calling off Friday classes due to a threat to the high school.
The district said on its social media accounts that CERC and CERC day care would also be closed.
The nature of the threat was not specified in a Facebook post from the district.
This is the second time in less than three weeks that the district is canceling school due to a threat; it also happened March 5.
