Two injured in 11-car pile-up in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were injured in an 11-vehicle pileup on northbound US-131 in Grand Rapids Tuesday.

It happened shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday between Hall and Franklin streets, Michigan State Police told 24 Hour News 8.

The Grand Rapids Fire Department said 11 vehicles were involved in the pileup. At least two people were taken to the hospital, but GRFD said their injuries don’t appear to be life threatening.
