New bill would require Michigan coaches to complete concussion awareness tr

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan coaches and others involved in youth sports may soon have to complete concussion awareness training once every three years.

That's according to legislation that is now headed to Governor Rick Snyder for his signature.

It would update 2012 concussion laws that require a concussion protocol for youth athletes and an awareness program for coaches.
