B93.7 Birthday Bash Moves to Fifth Third Ballpark

Grand Rapids, Mich. – B-93.7 has announced changes to its annual B-93 Birthday Bash. For the first time, The B-93 Birthday Bash will be held in Grand Rapids, as it moves to Fifth Third Ballpark on Saturday June 2, 2018. 

iHeart Media Market President, Tim Feagan, made the announcement on B-93.7’s morning show with personalities Matt & Aly. Along with the new location, changes are being made in the ticket structure, moving from a free, general admission ticket to a paid ticket with reserved seating available. As always, the concert will feature multiple acts with both national headliners and new and upcoming artists. Lineup will be announced at a later date. 

Feagan stated “After evaluating the changing concert landscape and reviewing facilities and infrastructure, B-93.7 has decided to move its Birthday Bash celebration to the Fifth Third Ballpark. The new facility for the Birthday Bash will provide better sightlines, concession choices, facilities, and seating for all attendees.” Feagan continued “Partnership and production support will come from Bluecap Entertainment who we have worked with on other events of this type in the past.” Bluecap Entertainment President Denny Baxter stated, “We are thrilled to bring the B-93 Birthday Bash to the Fifth Third Ballpark. With our history of producing quality events at one of the premier outdoor facilities in the state, we are certain fans are going to truly enjoy the new experience.” 

Unlike in the past, this year’s tickets will be limited with prices as low as $34.00. Parking will be available at the Ballpark for $10.00. General admission, reserved seating, and VIP field passes will be available for purchase later this year. The event will be all-day with gates opening at noon on June 2, 2018 with music continuing through the day. The night will end around 10:00 pm with a special Birthday Bash fireworks display.
