PD: Same Grand Rapids home targeted twice by shooters

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police say the same home was targeted twice by gunfire.

The incidents happened around 11 p.m. Monday and just before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Fremont Street NW between 4th and 3rd streets, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

In the first shooting, a dark-colored van was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed, police said.

In the second incident, officers stopped a the suspect’s vehicle, a gray Ford F-150, a short distance away from the home. Officers arrested one person but are still searching for additional suspects, according to Sgt. Terry Dixon.

Police say no one was injured in the shootings, but the house was hit.
