WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was killed in a crash in Walker Tuesday night, police said.
The wreck happened near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Richmond Street NW, according to a Walker Police Department news release.
Investigators say a vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old Ottawa County resident, was heading eastbound on Richmond Street when it failed to stop at the intersection and struck a southbound Wilson Avenue vehicle.
The 35-year-old Ottawa County resident was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 21-year-old Walker resident, suffered minor injuries.
