WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A portion of Clyde Park Avenue in Wyoming is shut down as a crews work to fix a water main break.
It happened Friday afternoon on Clyde Park Avenue SW, north of 28th Street.
Viewer photos sent to ReportIt showed a completely flooded street, with a police cruiser blocking the roadway. The waters also flooded the lot outside Flowerland on McKee Street SW.
A city official said a 16-inch water main broke. Homes and businesses along Clyde Park Avenue between 26th Street and Cricklewood Street SW are without water.
Clyde Park Avenue SW is shut down from 28th Street to Tennyson Drive, however traffic is moving on 28th Street.
It’s unclear what led to the water main break and when water service will be restored.
