GRPD seeks tips leading to man missing from hospital

UPDATE: EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police say a man reported missing after he was discharged from the hospital has been found.

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a dementia patient missing from Spectrum Health’s Blodgett Hospital.

Charles Johnson was reported missing around 9 a.m. Tuesday. He’s 5 feet 4 inches tall, 150 pounds, African-American and about 66 years old.

Johnson is missing one arm and walks with a cane. He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap, light blue shirt and tan pants.
