MUSKEGON, Mich. — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in Muskegon early Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the 1300 block of Sanford Street, which near Muskegon High School’s Hackley Stadium, just before 1 a.m. That’s where they found a 44-year-old Muskegon man unresponsive with a gunshot wound the the head, a release from the Muskegon Police Department said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released and police have not released any information about a suspect.
The motive is unknown. Police are still investigating.
