GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Gorgeous weather will overtake West Michigan for the Fourth of July. The next chance of rain will arrive late Wednesday and will be slight.
High pressure has moved in for the holiday, giving us mostly clear skies and temperatures topping out close to 80. Near Lake Michigan the highs will be in the mid-70s.
Darkness settles in around 10 p.m. this time of year. The forecast Monday and Tuesday evening will be near perfect for celebrating.
Lake Michigan should behave, too. Waves are expected to remain calm to a foot with no rip current risk through the Fourth of July. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
