A suspect is in custody following a search south of Galesburg, Michigan State Police say.
24 Hour News 8 was told the suspect was wanted in connection to a homicide. His name has not yet been released. Police are expected to provide more details soon.
Police were on the scene in the area of 35th Street between ML Avenue and I-94. Authorities say that the suspect was fleeing in an SUV, then ditched the vehicle and fled on foot.
