WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — After a shooting in Wyoming that wounded one man and a standoff that lasted all afternoon, four people are in police custody.

Police were called to the Walgreens at 4425 S. Division Ave. — south of 44th Street — after a man walked in and said he had been shot.  The victim was taken to Mercy Health St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was later listed in serious but stable condition. He is expected to survive.

The Wyoming Department of Public Safety said people were holed up in nearby rap recording studio on Division Avenue. Officers in tactical gear surrounded the building and called for those inside to come outside.
