GRIFFINS TAKE GAME 4 OVER CRUNCH

The Grand Rapids Griffins are one away win from winning the Calder Cup Trophy, and they can do it right where they did it back in 2013.

Grand Rapids claimed its Calder Cup in 2013 by winning all three games in Syracuse, including the Game 6 clincher.

The Griffins took Game 4 Friday with a little different approach to beat the Syracuse Crunch 3-1 on Friday. It's the Crunch's first postseason home loss in 11 games.

Ben Street kicked things off scoring the first goal ten minutes into the first period. Dan Renouf scored the Griffins second goal with two minutes and twelve seconds left in the first. Renouf scored again with nine minutes and twenty-seven seconds to go in the second period. That was all the scoring they needed to win Game 4 in Syracuse.
