HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – A 16-year-old girl is in serious condition after she was run over by a vehicle during a dispute in Ottawa County, investigators say.
It happened around midnight Monday at an apartment complex on Westwood Lane near 136th Avenue in Holland Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say 16-year-old Kalina Sin and the 17-year-old suspect got into a fight before the suspect ran over Sin, dragging her.
Sin was listed in serious but stable condition at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids as of Monday afternoon.
The suspect was later found at a party less than two miles away and arrested, investigators say. She was being held on charges of assault with a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a crash and driving on a suspended license.
