Grand River Flood Threat Lessening

There's some good news for those living along the Grand River. The rainfall over the week end didn't turn out as much as first feared, with has lessened the threat of any severe flooding. Jack Stewart of Kent County Emergency Services says he doesn't expect any problems in downtown Grand Rapids....but there could be some river bank overflow in the Comstock Park area. The month of April ranked as the 6th wettest in Grand Rapids history
