Firefighters pulled a man from a burning garage along Burlingame Avenue SW with serious injuries from burns and smoke inhalation. The man, believed to be 40 to 50 years old, was taken to a hospital and was believed to be in critical condition. MLive reports, the fire was reported about 7:40 p.m. last night in the 3400 block of Burlingame Avenue SW.Wyoming Deputy Fire Chief Brian Bennett said firefighters arrived at the scene to find heavy smoke and fire showing from the unattached garage. He said crews of firefighters began to attack the flames while another group went inside through a side door and found the man on the floor.Firefighters called for a state fire marshal to respond to the scene to help in the investigation.The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
