Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Oceana County Deputies were dispatched to the Lake Michigan Shore in Pentwater Township just a little south of the Pentwater Pier to the report of a possible body. Workers at a near by construction site had seen what they thought was a body on the beach. Deputies did find the body of a white male laying just on the shore and partially covered in sand. After further investigation, we are very confident that this the remains of Mr. Ryan Walsworth, whom had went missing back on February 13th of this year. This location is approximately 3 miles south of where his truck was located on February 14th. An extensive search on both land and water was performed at that time but we were not able to locate Mr. Walsworth until today. The body is being taken to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids for an autopsy and positive identification but we are very confident that this is Mr. Walsworth.
