In 2016, Silent Observer recieved 1,975 tips, assisting police in solving 191 crimes. These cases spanned the entire Kent County comunity and led to the arrest of 123 people and recovery of almost $126,000 in cash, property, and drugs. 29 of these cases took place on school campuses and led to the confiscation of guns, knives, an assortment of drugs, child porn, and identified bulling among other school violations. $15,000 in reward money was distributed for crime solving information called into the tip line.
