The Grand Rapids Police Department is still conducting a death investigation in Highland Park, located at 525 Grand Av NE. Officers to a report of a body found in the pond. The identity of the victim remains unknown; however, the victim is an adult male with the letters “J R” on his right upper arm. The victim’s race, or ethnicity, is unclear. The autopsy result is currently inconclusive, pending toxicology results. Anyone who may be aware of a missing adult male with those letters on the right arm is asked to call the police department at 456-3400, or Silent Observer at 774-2345.
