Other information received was that there were other subjects inside this residence along with the homeowner and the homeowner was in fear.

Upon arriving Deputies were able to make contact with the homeowner and later attempted to make contact with the other occupants inside the residence.  Several attempts were made to have the subjects come out via the PA system, this resulted in two subjects coming out and being taken into custody. Deputies were informed that another subject was inside the residence and didn’t want to come out.

The subject inside the residence was identified by other residents as a subject with outstanding warrants and possibly in possession of a firearm.  Deputies continued to call over the PA to this subject who would occasionally appear in windows however would not give up or come outside.  After several more attempts to have this subject surrender without avail and the severity of this incident  the Allegan County Tactical Team (SWAT) was activated.

The SWAT Team and Negotiation team arrived on scene and negotiators took over communications with this subject.   After negotiations started, the subject later surrendered to Deputies on the scene and was taken into custody.  The subject was lodged on the outstanding warrants and additional charges are pending stemming from this incident.  The subjects name will be released after arraignment.
