Flooding Could Still Be A Problem

Ottawa County Emergency Management is warning residents along the Grand  River to take precautionary measures for a potential flood. Mlive reports, OCEM is continuing to monitor the water levels of the river and other  areas in the county following the heavy rain on Monday evening and more expected this week end. Some areas of Ottawa County have had water over roadways. OCEM  reminds residents to avoid driving through the water. Roads could be  washed out underneath the water, making the puddle deeper than it  looks. OCEM encourages Ottawa County residents and businesses to prepare for  potential flooding, especially near low-lying areas and bodies of  water.
