The Grand River is expected to crest at Lansing Saturday morning. Portland is in the process of cresting right now, and this moves down toward Ionia by tomorrow night. The crest moves through Kent County by the end of the weekend, and finally Ottawa County. Moderate flooding is still expected in Comstock Park. Numerous roads in the vicinity of the Grand River in Kent County will be closed due to flooding.
