At approximately 2:55 p.m., Grand Rapids police officers were called to the 800 block of Buchanan Ave SW after receiving a report of an unresponsive male near the railroad tracks.
When officers arrived, they located a 62 year-old male deceased inside of a tent.
There were no obvious signs of injury.
The cause of death is unknown at this time, pending an autopsy.
The victim's name is being withheld, pending notification of the next of kin.
