Ann Arbor has been named the top travel destination in the Midwest for a mid-sized city in a new list released by RewardExpert, an online tool that helps travelers find the best rewards programs for their needs.
RewardExpert rated more than 250 cities on 13 different metrics in four separate categories: affordability, safety, recreational activities, and city profile. They compared cities with populations between 100,000 and 300,000 residents.
Ann Arbor, MI is #1 in the Midwest. Travelers to Ann Arbor, home to the University of Michigan, would enjoy the many amenities this college-towns offer has to offer. There are many museums and galleries, restaurants and bars, as well as opportunities to watch sports.
Other Michigan cities on the list include Grand Rapids which came in 13th place, Warren at 20th place, Sterling Heights in 22nd place and Lansing at 29th place.
