The Grand Rapids Police Department is pleased to announce its Police Officers of the Year and Civilian Employee of the Year for 2016. Officer Scott Bylsma, Officer Ryan Manser, and Crime Scene Technician Daryl Clemens were selected from nominations submitted to the Department’s Board of Awards, by Service Area, Division, and Unit Commanders.
This is the first year the Police Officer of the Year honor has been awarded to officers in two different areas: Administrative/Investigative Services and Operations.
