Walker police say a man is in custody after he fired multiple gunshots during an early-morning standoff.
Police responded at 12:05 a.m. Sunday to Pineridge Apartments on a report that someone was suicidal and firing gunshots inside and outside his apartment. About a dozen shots were fired.
When police arrived, they say the man fired several more gunshots out of his apartment.
Officers surrounded the area and began negotiations with the suspect. The standoff lasted for three to four hours, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
Police say no one was injured, however several homes were struck by gunfire.
