Police Identify Murder Victim

Mlive reports, police have identified the victim of a Monday night homicide as a 16-year-old from Muskegon Heights. McArthur Watt was shot and killed around 10 p.m. in an alley off of Baker Street in Muskegon Heights, said Muskegon Heights Police Chief Joseph E. Thomas Jr. No arrests have been made, Thomas said around 2 p.m. Tuesday. Watt had attended Muskegon Heights Public School Academy to play football, but dropped out after the football season, Thomas said. Police were called by hospital personnel around 10:30 p.m. who reported a gunshot victim had arrived at the hospital by private vehicle, Thomas said. Police determined the shooting occurred near the 2300 block of Baker Street about a half hour earlier
