Mlive reports, the season flu looks to be spreading in Muskegon County Based on the latest data compiled by Public Health-Muskegon County, the amounts of confirmed influenza cases and reports of flu-like symptoms have significantly increased this month.As of last week, when the most recent data was compiled, a total of 888 reports of influenza-like illnesses were reported to the county health department from Muskegon County schools and day-care centers.That number of almost 900 reported cases is nearly as many as was reported at the height of the flu season last year and exceeded the amounts recorded at any point over the three previous seasons. The flu-like illness reports are not tested or lab confirmed.
