Police Need A Break In Murder Investigation

Posted July 16th, 2014 @ 6:41pm by WOOD Radio news team

Muskegon County sheriff's detectives are still hunting for suspects in the shooting death of a jogger.

36-year old Rebekah Bletsch was gunned down June 29 while she was running along a road not far from her home in Dalton Township. A death certificate lists "multiple gunshot wounds to the head" as her cause of death. Police have no obvious clues as to her killer and her father says she had no enemies. Bletsch often jogged alone and detectives consider this might be a random act.

Anyone who may have information about this case is urged to call the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office or Silent Observer.
