The principal of Spring Lake High School has stepped down after admitting he changed student's grades.
Mike Gilchrist submitted his resignation on January 26 and the board unanimously accepted it on February 10.
The school district says Gilchrist changed records for 31 students.
Superintendent Dennis Furton says an investigation revealed staff were not aware of or complicit in the changes.
