Rockford Public Schools is naming Korie Wilson-Crawford as the interim superintendent.
Wilson-Crawford currently works as the district's assistant superintendent of human resources.
She will take over the interim role beginning January 1, 2022.
Current superintendent Mike Shibler, announced his plans to retire in June.
