Former Grand Rapids Mayor John Logie has died at the age of 81.
His online obituary says he lost a battle with Alzheimer's.
Logie was one of Grand Rapids' longest serving mayors.
He served from 1991 through 2003 and said he focused on economic development and expanding jobs in the city.
