A new restaurant will soon take over the remaining retail space inside the Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids.
The concept for Social Misfits was created on a napkin and will combine coffee, cocktails and waffles.
Owner Spencer Raymond wanted to create a space where people could feel welcome and comfortable anytime.
Social Misfits will have a rotating menu of comfort food paired with Michigan Maple Syrups, craft cocktails and espresso drinks.
