Western Michigan University is set to open a $20 million expansion of the College of Aviation in Battle Creek.
The project was mostly covered by funding through the state, however the university contributed as well.
Tom Thinnes, the recruitment manager for the college, says the new space gives them room for future growth.
The center will increase classrooms from four to eleven and allow for briefing rooms for pre- and post- flight meetings.
