Grand Rapids Public Schools is one of the only school districts in West Michigan that has spent the whole school year learning remotely.
The school district will begin a hybrid learning schedule on January 19.
Families will still have the option to keep their students at 100 percent virtual learning.
GRPS district spokesperson John Helmholdt says the support students receive in the classroom is important.
