KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Narcotics and an assault rifle were recovered by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety during a traffic stop Friday night.
Police were going to conduct a routine traffic stop when the driver, a 19-year-old Kalamazoo resident, ran away on foot, but was caught after a short chase. At which point, the police began to search the car.
