LANSING, Mich. (WOOD TV) — State officials have simplified the process for Michigan voters to request an absentee ballot online.
The new option directs Michigan voters to a designated state webpage. Voters then submit their driver’s license number and the last four digits of their Social Security number and they can digitally use the signature they provided for their driver’s license or state ID card.
Once completed, their voter absentee ballot application is sent to the voter's local clerk.
