Gas leak closes Leonard St. intersection in GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Leonard Street intersection in Grand Rapids has been shut down while crews work on an “urgent” gas leak repair, city officials say.

DTE employees are working to locate and isolate the leak on Leonard Street NW.

The intersection of Leonard and Front Avenue NW was closed at 11 a.m. Thursday and is expected to remain shut down until 1 p.m. Friday.
