GRPS seeks public input in superintendent search

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — What traits should Grand Rapids Public Schools’ next superintendent have? The district is turning to city residents to answer that question.

GRPS will hold four town hall meetings next week to create a community wish list as part of its superintendent search. Those meetings will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:         

  • Nov. 26 at City High Middle, 1720 Plainfield Ave. NE
  • Nov. 27 at Union High, 1800 Tremont Blvd. NW
  • Nov. 28 at Cesar E. Chavez Elementary, 1205 Grandville Ave. SW
  • Nov. 29 at Gerald R. Ford Academic Center, 851 Madison Ave. SE
