Suspect in Grand Rapids stabbing arrested

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The suspect wanted in connection to a stabbing in Grand Rapids Tuesday morning is in custody, police say. 

The stabbing happened shortly before 11 a.m. in the 400 block of Brenner Street NE, near the intersection of College Avenue and Leonard Street on the city's northeast side. 

The Grand Rapids Police Department told 24 Hour News 8 that the suspect was taken into custody before 12 p.m. Tuesday. Police have not released the suspect's name.
