BCPD: 3 boys face sexual assault charges

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Three boys ages 11 to 13 face criminal charges for allegedly repeatedly raping two younger boys in Battle Creek.

The unnamed suspects, ages 11, 12 and 13, each face three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, Battle Creek Police Chief Jim Blocker confirmed to 24 Hour News 8 Monday evening. All are being held at the county juvenile home and their case is being handled in juvenile court.

Authorities say the boys held the two victims, ages 6 and 8, down during the assaults, which allegedly happened at a garage on S. Wabash Avenue south of Capital Avenue.
