GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Thousands of homes and businesses across Michigan were in the dark after strong winds battered the area.
A total of 19,287 Consumers Energy customers were without power as of 4:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the company’s outage map.
However, power has been restored to several West Michigan counties since going out Friday.
